The sometimes robotic nature of bar activity. Nothing happening, people are just drinking, not even talking. The barman, I assume that's him on the right, polishes the till, nothing to be done, nothing to be said, he's in a virtual mask restricting any intercourse with customers lined up across the bar staring, drinking, nothing! You, as the observer, see this scene from across the table through your own emptying glass, not speaking, just looking!
